Two Bikes Stolen

Two mountain bikes were stolen last week, according to Sgt.Wayne Pride. On Friday April 6th, Police received a report of a theft of a mountain bike, a child’s 18 speed Norco Rival, green and black in colour, from an insecure garage in the 37000 block of Sam Baker Drive. The theft is believed to have occurred March 30th.

Another bicycle theft was reported on Tuesday, April 10th. Police received a report of a mountain bike theft, taken from a car port in the 39000 block of No name Rd. between 00:30 and 05:30 in the morning. The $1600.00 bike was a woman’s 16 Speed Giant Reign X, green and pink in colour and had been left insecure at the location overnight.

In other RCMP briefs:

1. Mischief to School –

Weds., April 4th Police received a report of a broken window at Stawamus Elementary School on Clarke Dr. Sometime overnight someone had thrown a large rock through the Library window. There was no evidence of an attempted Break and Enter.
 
2. Methamphetamine Possession and Probation Breach – On Friday, April 6th, police arrested a 33-year-old Squamish resident for a breach of a probation order and drug possession. Police noted and stopped the male in the 41000 block of Tantalus Rd. in the company of another male, contrary to a probation order. He was also found to be in possession of a small quantity of Methamphetamine.  
 
3. Break and Enter – On Sunday, April 8th, police received a report of a break and enter to a common storage area at a residential complex in the 39000 block of Government Rd. The incident occurred in the prior two days. An access door was pried open and locks removed from some lockers. Nothing appeared to have been stolen in this incident.
 
4. Uttering Threats –  On Sunday, April 8th, at approx. 9 a.m., the police arrested a 53-year-old Squamish resident for uttering threats during a verbal altercation with his ex-girlfriend. No assault occurred
