TEDxSquamish Live Brings Ted’s 30-year Celebrartion to Squamish

It’s been nearly 30 years since the inaugural TED conference in 1984, a conference that forever changed the way we share “ideas worth spreading”.

Now, thanks to a TEDxLive license granted by the TED organization, the community of Squamish can join others across the globe to experience a live webcast of Vancouver’s TED2014: The Next Chapter.

TEDxSquamish Live will feature both local speakers as well as live presentations by such speakers as Astronaut Chris Hadfield, Philanthropist Bill Gates and Singer/Author/Activist Sting.

The free all-day event will be held on Tuesday March 18, 8 am to 8 p.m. at The Ledge Cafe on Cleveland Avenue in downtown Squamish.

We’re looking forward to hearing from local speakers interested in sharing their stories.

A full schedule of events will be released in the coming weeks which will include local speakers and interactive programming. For more information about TEDxSquamish Live visit www.tedxsquamish.com.
