For over thirty years, Heather Donaldson has worked in the health promotion field. As proprietor of Nature’s Way Holistic Health, she currently provides registered therapies, holistic health treatments and promotes 100+ Ways to Restore, Rebalance and Revive. For most, this equates to harmony, pain relief, a blissful massage and a lovely sense of euphoria. To Heather, it means connecting and releasing a healthy body, mind and spirit back into the world. In her words, “Your joy is my joy”.
Life wasn’t always joyful for Heather. She once waded through unhealthy relationships that began great then slowly deteriorated. An inquisitive nature and desire to conquer a self-described weak link drove her to study why. When compiling expert data and scientific facts Heather found emotions to be a common thread.
A realization that she may not be fully present in her own life, nor living her best life, lead further down a road of self-discovery. The journey began as Heather sought out to develop a system to help others reset emotions and attract positive relationships instead of settling for less.
Using the analogy of growing a garden, Heather grew her first book; a how-to guide entitled How to Grow a Beautiful Relationship with the primary focus being how to develop intimate relationships. A unique feature growing in popularity is how to employ EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). Recognized by the American Psychological Association, EFT is a tool which some psychotherapists use to help restore natural balance to mind and body. It teaches how to optimize emotional health which is often lost in today’s fast-paced grind.
With savvy and passion, Heather has created a program entitled RootsEFT which focusing on love relationships. Heather explains, “When it comes to the most intimate of relationships, no one teaches us how to manage them.”
In February, Heather presents a RootsEFT for Relationships weekend for couples and singles at The Brew Creek Centre in Whistler. The program covers techniques on how to restore, rebalance and revive you and your relationships. Participants will also enjoy Tai Chi, organic meals and peaceful slumber.
