Love Cascades Through Generations

May 8, 2015 6:33pm

Nothing could prepare me for the feeling of truly truly truly loving unconditionally. When I became a mother for the first time it was like I got the keys to a whole other dimension of love. When we were expecting our youngest I worried I would have enough room in my heart to split between the girls and when she was born I realized I had it all wrong.

As mothers when we have children we don’t “split” our heart… it exponentially grows in its capacity to love. Cm

Without a doubt in my mind, my daughters and my husband who have made me a “mother” have gifted me with the hardest yet most rewarding role I have ever had. I am so lucky though, because in my mother and my mother in law I have incredible role models for the journey ahead.

I see that same love cascade through generations and extend to their grandchildren and it helps me see the whole circle. I feel loved as a daughter and as a mother and for that, I feel so much gratitude.
