Police seeks information on the killing of 15 turkeys on Squamish Valley Road

July 29, 2018 2:13pm

Squamish RCMP is looking into the deaths of 15 turkeys on a Squamish farm.

On Thursday, July 26th, at 9:00 a.m. Squamish RCMP received a complaint regarding 15 turkeys that had been killed on a property up the Squamish Valley Road.

The cause of the killing is believed to have been an animal although the owner and the police isn’t sure if if was the dogs, cougars or coyotes that killed the turkeys.

Squamish RCMP is also asking the community for any information on stolen bikes.

The Squamish RCMP received two reports regarding bikes that were stolen from Walmart and the Mountain Retreat Hotel.  The first bike is described as an Orange, Norco “Storm”, youth mountain bike, with yellow writing.  The second bike is a green DH Brodie mountain bike.

If you have any information, contact the Squamish RCMP at 604-892-6100 or contact Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or go to www.solvecrime.ca
