How you can help build the new Squamish music and arts festival

October 26, 2018 6:37am
Tamara Stanners, Katherine Kunze, Kurt Larson, and Kirsten Andrews are organizing a new music festival in town.

The organisers of the town’s new music and art festival are inviting the community to join them in building the festival.

The festival will take place in the Hendrickson Field from July 26-28, 2019, amidst the stunning backdrop of the Squamish Chief.

Festival executives are currently building an advisory committee, a small group of dedicated citizens from Squamish and the Sea to Sky who want to help shape the festival.

Each volunteer committee member should expect to attend monthly meetings between December and July, or as prescribed based on an individual’s area of expertise.

All advisory committee members will receive two VIP weekend passes.

Anyone interested in helping can fill out an online submission form (www.aquilaevents.ca/advisory) before Nov. 30.
