On Saturday, January 19, 2019 at approximately 3:30 am Squamish RCMP responded to a report of a Break and Enter and a Robbery in Brackendale.
Police attended to the residence and located two victims who stated two men had been in their residence when they arrived home.
The victims were confronted by the men but they managed to escape with several items.
The Sea to Sky General Investigations Section assumed conduct of the investigation and it is still ongoing.
“This is a targeted incident and there is no indication to believe the general public is at risk” stated Sergeant Jeff Shore. “We will be following up on leads over the next few days and weeks on this incident and are asking for the public’s assistance to help piece together details and identify those responsible.”
