Mother bear, three cubs sighted along Mashiter Trail

May 12, 2019 6:10pm

A mother bear and three cubs have been sighted along the Mashiter trail.

This is a vulnerable time for this family so make noise (use your voice) to avoid surprise encounters and ensure dogs are under control.

Three ‘Bear in Area” signs have been posted and leashes provided for anyone who might need one.

Please call sightings or encounters to the Conservation Officer Service hotline at 1-877-952-7277
