Squamish RCMP says a vigilant neighbour was able to report suspicious activity on Jay Crescent in Garibaldi Highlands.

A Caucasian woman in her 20s, and about 5’8, was confronted by a neighbour when the female tried to enter a home in the 1000 block of Jay Crescent.

The unidentified woman described herself as a house cleaner. But when the absent homeowner was contacted, he said no such services was arranged.

The woman was able to flee the area. She was reportedly seen in a white Chevrolet tracker, but police was unable to find her.

Do you know this graffiti tagger?

On August 12th, Squamish RCMP received a report of two similar graffiti tags on the Oceanfront Gateway sign and the Howe Sound Brewpub. Police believe the tagger to be the same person. The graffiti tags were rendered in late July. Police encourage the public to come forward when new graffiti tags are noticed around town.
