45-year-old woman found murdered in Gastown

Vancouver Police are investigating the suspicious death of a 45-year-old Vancouver woman. She was  was found dead inside her home early this morning.

Just after 1:30 a.m. on January 19, officers responded to a 9-1-1 call at 112 Water Street from paramedics who were unsuccessful in resuscitating the victim.

No arrests have been made.

VPD investigators do not believe there is a risk to the public.

Anyone with information is asked to contact VPD’s Homicide Unit at 604-717-2500 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

This is the city’s third homicide of 2020.
