The Village of Pemberton is seeking public input on improving cycling in Pemberton.

The public input will shape the final Cycling Network Plan, a Plan that establishes a long-term vision for cycling in the Village.

It will identify the bicycle network and focusing on maintenance, end-of-trip facilities, education and awareness.

The Cycling Plan will also enable Pemberton to access capital funding to improve its cycling infrastructure.

The plan also lays out steps to implement the plan’s action items, ultimately helping to increase transportation choices in Pemberton and better connect the Village to the surrounding region.

The purpose of the Pemberton Cycling Network Plan is to make cycling in Pemberton safe, comfortable, and convenient for residents and visitors of all ages and abilities.

The Village has been working on the plan since October and expects to finalise it by February 2020.
