Antique silverware stolen from Lions Bay home

Squamish RCMP is investigating a theft from a Lions Bay home that took place at 3 pm on February 22.

Police said suspects took away antique silverware, four bottles of liquor, and some specialized dental loupe magnifying lenses.

Police are investigating the theft with the help of forensic service.

Squamish RCMP are also investigating the theft of a backpack that was taken from a porch of a home on Northridge Drive in Hospital Hill.

The backpack was stolen within an hour of the citizen leaving it on the porch. It was an orange-coloured North Face 40L Backpack.

Its contents were an orange Petzl climbing rope, a blue Arc’teryx women’s size small harness, a grey Black Diamond helmet, a grey and orange Arc’teryx chalk bag, a pair of Feathered Friends black down booties and a pair of La Sportiva women’s climbing shoes size 36.
