Attempted break-in at business on Enterprise Way

Squamish RCMP have released this image of one of the suspects.

Squamish RCMP are looking for two men who tried to break in at a business on Enterprise Way.

On March 22, at about 3:30 am, two men allegedly tried to open a locked gate at a business in the 1100 block of Enterprise Way.

However, they couldn’t enter the property and left the area.

Squamish RCMP have released a suspect’s photo in the hope that someone will recognise him and call the police.

Thefts from vehicles

On March 19, at about 4 am, a resident said their work truck parked along the 39000 block of Government Road was broken into and tools worth $4,000 were stolen.

Another resident in the same neighborhood also reported their car was broken into but nothing of value was stolen.

In a third incident, a resident of the 39000 block of Cardinal Drive reported his car was broken into and two pairs of prescription glasses were stolen.

COVID-19 scams

Squamish RCMP are also warning the community about COVID-19 related scams.

Fraudsters are setting up websites to sell products that don’t exist and are using untraceable emails, text numbers, and social media posts as a ruse to take victims money and personal information, police said.
