Howe Sound Women’s Centre will reopen Pearl’s Value & Vintage Store next month. Pearl’s will open on June 8 with slightly reduced hours to allow time for daily cleaning.

The shopping hours will be from 10 am to 4 pm and donation drop off will be available from 10 am to 2 pm.

The Squamish and Whistler Drop-In Centres will not be accepting donations until Pearl’s opens on June 8.

Meanwhile, Howe Sound Women’s Centre Drop in Centres will be open again on Tuesday, May 19.

In Squamish, the drop-in hours will be Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm and in Whistler, the hours will be Tuesday to Thursday, from 10 am to 4 pm, and by appointment on Mondays.

The centre is also operating a 24-hour crisis line along with a text-only line for crisis support. The 24-hour crisis line can be reached by dialing 1-877-890-5711 and the text line is 604-815-8596.

“These past eight weeks have been a challenge but we have been so blown away by the generosity and support shown by the community,” said Ashley Oakes, Executive Director of Howe Sound Women’s Centre.

“As we move into this new phase, we continue to anticipate an increase in need for the services provided by Howe Sound Women’s Centre,” she said.
