Grouse Mountain has announced that it will begin a phased reopening on Monday, June 22.
The Grouse Grind trail also opens today.
Annual pass holders as well as hikers who have purchased and downloaded tickets will be allowed in the first phase of reopening.
Advance Skyride Reservations are required through a new online reservation system.
The Skyride will be operating at a significantly reduced capacity to allow for physical distancing, and temperature screening will be in place for all passengers before boarding.
Use of face masks is also mandatory for all travel on the Skyride.
Physical distancing signage has been places throughout the resort, and extra hand sanitizing stations will also be available.
A new online ordering, takeout and payment options are also available from Food and Beverage locations as well as contactless dine in service.
Grouse Mountain anticipates moving into the second phase of reopening by the end of this month.
“We are thrilled to begin welcoming guests back to safely enjoy the fresh air and outdoor recreation in our mountaintop environment,” said Michael Cameron, Grouse Mountain’s President.
