Chamber elects new board of directors

​The Squamish Chamber of Commerce hosted its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday and has announced a new Board of Directors.

Below are the members of the new Board of Directors for 2021-2022:​​

Mike Coyne (President)

Abby Majendie (Vice President)

Jack Montpellier (Secretary)

Rajan Hans (Director)

Catherine Webster (Director)

Cameron Cope (Director)

Susan Chapelle (Director)

Nolan Rivers (Director)

Jacquie Menezes (Director)

Carlos Zavarce (Director)

Clive Stanley (Director)

You can read more about the board of directors here. Louie Walker, the president of the chamber, congratulated the new board.

“I very much look forward to working together over the next year. I would also like to thank all the candidates for stepping forward to support the Squamish Chamber and our business community,” she said.

Walker said the final thanks went to the 2019-20 directors for their dedication to the Chamber and many volunteer hours – Rob Weys, Christine Campbell, Bianca Peters, Allie Meeres, Maxime Charron and Hilary Ewart.

“The chamber has seen strong growth over the last three years, including a 32% increase in membership and a 68% increase in revenue, which is reinvested back into programming and in turn has helped improve member satisfaction,” she said.
