Squamish RCMP and emergency crews from Coastal Fire are attacking a fire that engulfed a vehicle on the Stawamus Forest Service Road.
There is one fire attack crew on site and there are more resources coming.
Helicopters are also enroute and will be in the area shortly. The area is closed for the time being, said Squamish RCMP.
“Please avoid the area until we can ensure the fire doesn’t spread and everyone is safe,” Squamish RCMP said.
