Traffic will be slow in both directions on Highway 99 today, according to an update by Drive BC.

Traffic will be moving slowly because of scheduled road maintenance work on Highway 99 at Cleveland Avenue.

The work starts early morning and is expected to continue all through the day until 6:30 pm.

“Watch for slow moving vehicle tomorrow through Squamish for pavement testing,” according to the update.

Meanwhile, road maintenance work between Alice Lake Road in Squamish and Alpha Lake Road in Whistler continues and is expected to wrap up tomorrow at 6:30 pm.

Traffic will also be slow on Highway 99 in both directions in Whistler because of utility work between Trudys Landing and Riverside Dr for 7.8 km.

This work will continue until August 12.
