Squamish RCMP are looking for witnesses after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Cleveland Avenue yesterday.
The pedestrian was uninjured.
The driver is described as a Caucasian female, no older than 30 years old, with short light brown hair with bangs. She was also wearing glasses.
She didn’t stop the car and drove away from the scene.
The vehicle is described as a darker grey, four-door vehicle, possibly a Ford.
Squamish RCMP received a report at 9:26 am about a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Cleveland and Buckley Avenues.
The pedestrian had stepped into the intersection to cross the road. Meantime, a driver turning southbound onto Cleveland Avenue from Buckley Avenue struck the pedestrian.
The pedestrian fell back but stood up, made eye contact with the driver, but the driver took off.
