Squamish RCMP seek info on hit-and-run

Squamish RCMP officers are investigating a hit-and-run that took place on Queens Way.

No one was injured in the incident that was reported to Squamish RCMP on September 12.

Police say the complainant was driving on Queens Way when their car was hit on the driver’s side by a newer red minivan.

The minivan did not stop.

The complainant wasn’t injured, and the car received only minor damage.

Squamish RCMP are asking anyone who may have seen this incident or may know about this red mini van to contact the police.

Mischief to vehicle

On September 10, possibly between 2 am and 3 am, window of a citizen’s car was smashed.

The car was parked in the 40000 block of Plateau Drive. Police say nothing was stolen from the car.
