Whistler taxi driver injured in rollover crash

A 68-year-old Whistler taxi driver is in hospital after a rollover crash at the intersection of Highway 99 and Panorama Ridge.

The accident happened on September 17 at approximately 12:30 pm.

Whistler RCMP and Whistler Fire responded to the call and were able to remove the man from the taxi.

Police said he was travelling southbound on Highway 99 when he lost control of the taxi.

He was taken to the hospital, where is is recovering from what are believed to be minor injuries.
