Free transit in Squamish on election day

The District of Squamish and BC Transit will be providing free transit service on election day.

No fare will be charged on October 24 as part of election day in Squamish.

Free transit will be available all day on all scheduled routes and handyDART services in the Squamish Transit System.

According to Elections BC, all general voting places are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Pacific time) on October 24.

Locals can vote at the Don Ross Middle School, Garibaldi Highlands Elementary School, Sea to Sky Hotel, and Totem Hall.

Citizens needs to bring an Valid ID that shows the name and home address, own pen or pencil, a mask to wear in the voting place, although it is optional.
