Right lane closure on Highway 99 near Squamish starts tomorrow

Commuters can expect traffic delays on Highway 99 near Squamish as utility work begins tomorrow.

Utility work is planned between Porteau Cove and Copper Drive for 1.8 kilometres, about six to eight km south of Squamish.

Right lane will be closed and traffic will be impacted in both directions.

The work starts tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct 27 and will continue until Friday, October 30.

The work starts at 9 am and will continue until 5 pm on weekdays.

Drive BC is urging people to watch for traffic control personnel.

Meanwhile, maintenance work will also continue on Cypress Bowl Road, and lane closure can be expected there as well until November 14.
