Highway closure planned near Lillooet; expect delays

A portion of Highway 99 on Pavilion Lake will be closed with up to 90-minute delays on Tuesday, November 17.

The highway is expected to close from 7 am to 7 pm.

BC Hydro will be performing work on one of its transmission poles.

The worksite location is 12 kilometres north of Upper Hat Creek Road and 800 metre south of Smith Road.

School buses and first responders will be able to pass through site without delay.

Alternate route is via Highway 1 to Highway 12.
