After reviewing the Provincial Health Order, the District of Squamish has modified operations at the Brennan Park Recreation Centre.
The following activities at BPRC are not restricted in the provincial order and will continue as scheduled, due to the distancing they afford:
Lane Swims
Bubble Swims
Bubble Skates
Showers will remain open for daily use as an essential service
The Vancouver Coastal Health Flu Clinic will continue to take place on November 14 with appropriate safety measures in place
Bubble swims are temporarily limited to members of an immediate household only, as per provincial guidance.
Meanwhile, district staff is working with local sports associations to understand how safety plans can be updated and approved to allow for a return to practice in some sports.
Anyone registered in a suspended class will receive a credit or refund and customer service staff will reach out to them over the coming days.
