Fog advisory issued for Sea to Sky

Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for the Sea to Sky region.

Pockets of dense fog will significantly reducing visibility starting this evening.

Fog combined with freezing temperatures will produce locally icy conditions on the roads.

The fog patches are expected to dissipate either overnight or on Wednesday morning.

Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.

Fog advisories are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions, the agency warns.
