Local defrauded of $7,000

Squamish RCMP are investigating after a local resident was defrauded of $7,000.

On January 15, 2021, a local resident received a package they were not even expecting.

When the resident checked their credit card, they found it had been used to make several other purchases totaling over $7,000.

On January 17, BC Hydro reported a fence breach at 39020 Discovery Way.

The police investigation revealed that while no one entered the property, small holes were made in the fence by unknown people.
