A local is in hospital after a collision in Downtown Squamish.
The collision between a vehicle and the pedestrian happened on January 25 at the intersection of Cleveland and Buckley Avenue.
Sgt. Sascha Banks of Squamish RCMP said the driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
The pedestrian was transported to Squamish General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
“Police would like to thank the many bystanders that stayed on scene to help the pedestrian,” Banks said.
Mischief to Vehicle
On January 20, a vehicle owner of a black Toyota Corolla reported damage to their vehicle, which was parked in the 38000 block of Westway Ave.
The owner told the police that someone smashed the hood of their vehicle and caused damage to the hood and front grill.
Police say it is also possible the damage may have occurred when the car was parked in front of Nester’s Market the night before the report.
