Single-lane alternating traffic on Highway 99 near Lillooet next week

Single lane alternating traffic will be in effect on Highway 99 near Lillooet.

Construction work near Lillooet will affect traffic on the highway in both directions. Construction work is planned at Toms Pit Road, seven kilometers north of Lillooet.

This work starts on Monday, February 22 at 8 am and will continue until Friday, May 21 at 5 pm.

Crews will be excavating the southbound lane to rebuild a retaining wall.

Please slow down and watch for traffic control personnel.

Meanwhile, utility work is planned between Esquimalt Avenue and Keith Road on Highway 99 near West Vancouver.

It starts on Saturday, Feb 20 at 7 am and will continue until Sunday, February 21 at 12 pm.

Right lane will be closed for north-bound drivers.
