District seeks new committee members

The District of Squamish is accepting applications for a position on the new Smoke Bluffs Park Staff Advisory Committee.

The Smoke Bluffs Select Committee was first established in 2007 to assist with the development and management of Smoke Bluffs Park.

The committee was recently disbanded and a new Smoke Bluffs Park Staff Advisory is being formed.

The Staff Advisory Committee will be dedicated to assisting staff with the operational maintenance and planning of Smoke Bluffs Park.

Those interested in joining the committee can apply by 5 pm on March 26.

District is also seeking one advisory design panel volunteer.

The panel reviews and provides advice regarding development permit applications and any other matter referred for review by Council.

Those interested in joining the committee can apply by 5 pm on March 24.
