Potential suspect in Vancouver stalking incident identified

Vancouver Police have identified a person of interest yesterday in the suspicious circumstance of a man following a woman in Chinatown earlier this week.

Yesterday morning, while working on a separate case, VPD officers arrested a man for assaulting a woman in Downtown Vancouver.

Police arrested a 33-year-old Vancouver man and it was from this investigation, officers were able to identify a person of interest in the stalking case.

The investigation into the stalking file is ongoing, VPD says.
