Locals are raising funds for victims of mass stabbing at the Lynn Valley Library in North Vancouver on Saturday which left a woman dead and six other people injured.
One of these victims is Susanne Till, a local single mother of three. Till’s friend Kirsten Emerson has started a fundraiser on gofundme.com
Susanne works full time to raise her children and is an active volunteer member of several organisations. Her injuries are extensive and life changing. Her rehabilitation will be exhaustive and she will not be able to return to work anytime in the near future.
Jacquie McCarnan, the founder of non-profit North Van Cares Foundation, has started another fundraiser for the Lynn Valley victims on gofundme.com. This campaign will be governed by a committee made up of representatives from all of the victims’ families and by the North Van Cares Foundation.
Katerina Klimes has started yet another fundraiser on gofundme.com.
