Staff report
June 2, 2021 2:47pm

A motorcyclist was transported by an air ambulance to a Lower Mainland hospital after suffering injuries in a speeding incident.

On May 30, Squamish RCMP received a report of the incident that happened approximately 30 km up the Elaho Forest Service Road.

Squamish Search and Rescue and Emergency Health Services responded to the incident. Meantime, a Good Samaritan had helped the motorcyclist to safely get out of the area.

The motorcyclist reported accelerating too much, resulting in the front tire slipping and the motorcyclist landing on their leg.

The motorcyclist is suspected to have broken a leg in this incident.
