Drunk driver’s car impounded after crash on Highway 99

Squamish RCMP impounded a drunk driver’s car after a crash on Highway 99.

The incident happened on Sunday, June 6, when the driver crashed his car north of the Big Orange Bridge on Highway 99.

Squamish RCMP investigated and determined the driver was impaired. The driver was issued a 90-day driving prohibition, and his car was impounded for one month.

Car windows smashed in Downtown Squamish

Squamish RCMP are investigating a mischief to vehicle that happened sometime between June 2 at 4 pm and June 3 at 7 am.

A car owner in the 38000 block of Third Avenue had their car windows smashed. However, nothing was stolen from the car.
