September 7, 2021 7:27pm

District of Squamish has posted a temporary trail closure.

The Mamquam River Salmon Spawning trail network is temporarily closed due to increased bear activity in the area.

“Please give them space by respecting the closure and allowing them to feed on natural food sources,” says the district.

Report wildlife sightings and encounters can be reported to the 24/7 COS hotline at 1.877.952.7277 (RAPP).
