Blasting work on Highway 99 starts tomorrow; expect delays

Blasting work on Highway 99 will cause traffic delays, cautions DriveBC.

Blasting is planned between Porteau Cove and Sea View Drive, nine kilometers south of Squamish.

The work starts on Monday, November 8 at 8 pm, and will continue until Tuesday, November 30 at 6 am.

Single lane alternating traffic will be in effect.

Utility work is also planned between Nicklaus North Blvd and Alpine Way for 0.7 km in Whistler.

This work starts tomorrow at 9 am and will end at 3 pm on Wednesday, November 10.

Watch for traffic control personnel.

Tree pruning is planned between Poole Creek Rd and D’Arcy, 1 km north of Pemberton. This work starts tomorrow and will continue until Saturday, Nov 13.

Tree pruning starts at 8 am and will continue until 4 pm on weekdays and Saturday.
