On February 20, 2022 a Squamish RCMP officer doing active patrols in town observed a pickup truck driving erratically.
When stopped, the driver failed a roadside test and also admitted to using drugs. The driver was arrested and a vehicle search also yielded drug paraphernalia.
The vehicle was towed and the driver was released for a later court appearance.
On February 16, 2022 thanks to the quick action of a citizen, police were alerted to a drunk male driving away from a pub in Squamish. The driver failed a roadside test and had his vehicle towed away.
