District of Squamish is holding a public hearing for a mixed-use building in Downtown Squamish. The public hearing will be held to develop a four-storey mixed use building at 37781 and 37799 Second Avenue.
The public hearing will be held on March 15 in the council chambers. This application proposes to rezone the subject properties from Light Industrial to Creative Mixed-Use District to develop a four-storey mixed use building.
The development includes 2,622 square feet of employment space on the ground floor, 3,874 square feet of employment space and 2,920 square feet of outdoor amenity space on the second floor as well as 20 apartment dwelling units on the third and fourth floors.
The unit mix includes 12 one-bedroom units, four two-bedroom units and four three-bedroom units.
People who believe that their interest in property is affected by the proposed zoning bylaw amendment will have an opportunity to be heard and to present written submissions at the Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 being held at 6 p.m.
