Through these times of change we understand more than ever the impact of loneliness and isolation. As the world reopens we have the opportunity to make a difference and enrich the lives of others in our community.

At Hilltop House, Squamish’s long-term care facility, we invite you to volunteer and bring an added dimension to the quality of life of our residents. We welcome your energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to enhance their daily experiences.

There are many opportunities to help with our programming such as games, outings, special events, crafting, reading, painting, baking, gardening, carpentry shed, massage, social visits, or time in the outdoors.

Perhaps you have a talent, skill or interest that you could share; we welcome speakers, music or dance performances and, of course, intergenerational connections.

Hilltop House will provide volunteers with orientation and training and can be flexible with busy schedules. Your presence can provide the Resident’s with companionship and a continued connection to our community. Please consider sharing your time; it is a rewarding experience for everyone involved.

If interested in volunteering, please email hthactivities@vch.ca
