Do you want to be a part of the Downtown Squamish Holiday Parade.There is still time to apply. The applications are now open and the deadline to apply is Friday, November 25.
The parade is on December 3.
For an entry to be accepted into the 2022 Squamish Holiday Parade it must conform to the parade’s rules and regulations. Applications must be submitted on or before the deadline date of Friday, November 25.
Downtown Squamish BIA will release more details about the parade but is inviting the community to come downtown with the family to watch as the streets come to life with the magic of the family-friendly Parade.
“All community members are invited to join the parade to celebrate whatever you celebrate over the winter; Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Yule, Kwanzaa, or just your fabulous self,” says Kerry Neil, the executive director of Downtown Squamish BIA. “Whatever your celebration, join the parade on December 3 in Downtown Squamish for our fun and inclusive parade.”
The procession will follow a route from Third Avenue, along Pemberton, then travel up Cleveland to Main Street. Details will be coming soon on how to sign up to participate and to book your family photo with Santa!
‘This year we are very excited to say that the Squamish Men’s Shed are going to be building us a brand new sleigh for Santa. They are currently working hard on the design and concept and we can’t wait to see what they come up with,” said Kerry Neil.
