Notice of low-level flying over Squamish

November 15, 2022 6:10am

SLRD has given a notice of low-level flying over Squamish, and specifically over Brackendale.

Talon Helicopters will be performing low level flying for LiDAR surveys from November 14, 2022 to December 14, 2022 during daylight hours.

The operation has been given special authorization by Transport Canada. There will be approximately two days of work with flights estimated to be approximately four hours per day, covering lines in the SCRD and SLRD.

Flight time over a single area will be minimal.  There will be no activity on the ground related to this flight. Maps of the relevant work zone are attached for your reference. Questions related to this project should be directed to Talon Helicopters at 604-214-3585 or mail@taloncopters.com.
