District seeking board of variance member

The District of Squamish is looking for one new member to fill the remainder of a three-year term (ending May 31, 2024) on the Board of Variance.

Boards of Variance consider applications from property owners requesting variances to zoning and land use bylaws.

The Squamish Board of Variance meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m., as necessary, if an application is received. Application forms are available at Municipal Hall and on the District of Squamish website: squamish.ca/committees.

Interested members of the public are encouraged to submit an application and resume to the Manager of Legislative Services, District of Squamish 37955 Second Avenue, PO Box 310, Squamish, BC, V8B 0A3 or by email.

The deadline to apply is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 2.
