A local pet food store is running a food and donation drive for animal shelters in the Sea to Sky region.
Firetail Pets is running a food and donation drive for Pawsitive Animal Rescue, the Sea-to-Sky SPCA as well as WAG (Whistler Animal Shelter). Firetail Pets is located in Garibaldi Estates shopping centre, next to BC Liquor store.
It is open 10 am to 7 pm daily.
The store manager Cindy Smith said Firetail Pets will match the generosity of locals by offering 50% off each and every item purchased for donation. “This is a time of giving and I think we can all help make a difference to our local rescue organizations,” Smith said.
She said another great way that locals can help animals is purchasing a brand new WAG 2023 calendar for only $25. All proceeds will be going directly to WAG.
Firetail Pets is a locally owned and operated pet store and has a large selection of canned wet foods for dogs and cats, healthy kibble, and kitty litter that the shelters are much in need of.
