Sea to Sky RCMP seek info after suspicious fire at Pemberton school

Sea to Sky Pemberton RCMP is seeking witnesses or anyone with information after a suspicious fire occurred at Signal Hill Elementary School in Pemberton.

In the early morning hours of July 4, 2023 Sea to Sky Pemberton RCMP attended at Signal Hill Elementary School and learned of a fire that appeared to have been deliberately set.  The Pemberton Fire Rescue Department was on scene and had extinguished the fire.

“Police are looking to speak with anyone who was in the area of Signal Hill Elementary School between the late evening of July 3, 2023 and the early morning of July 4, 2023, that could provide information to assist Police in their investigation”, said Constable Katrina Boehmer, Media Relations Officer for Sea to Sky Pemberton RCMP.
