The popular Squamish florist shop, Billies House,  is moving into a new bigger location on Cleveland Avenue in the first week of September. The new larger, modern location is at 38133 Cleveland Ave, located between Corsa Cycles and Cleveland Meats.

Three times the size and spread over two floors, the new space will allow Billies House to offer more floral, plant, home and lifestyle options as well as allowing capacity for larger and more wedding florals through Weddings With Billies.

“We are so excited to bring a beautiful new space to the community. Where all your senses are refreshed, where you can come for a peaceful experience, and where everyone can feel comfortable and welcome. Squamish is our home, and our community is what makes it so wonderful and special. Our House is Your House,” says Janine Reynolds, the owner.

Billies House is also celebrating a momentous milestone: Billies House is 50 years old.  The seed of Billies was first planted 50 years ago, establishing roots throughout the community. Flowers by Lily, the original business name, was bought by Lily’s best friend, Billie, in 1975, after two years in business. Rebranded as Billies Bouquet, it moved into the location it has remained at until this coming September.

As the business changed hands and names a few more times, today it is under the stewardship of Janine and Francis Reynolds, and about to undergo the biggest change, a move to a bigger space on Cleveland Avenue. Billies is brimming with fresh flowers, planters, jewelry, terrariums, gifts, candles, pillows, rugs and other beautiful things to spark your curiosity. At Billies we aspire to support local whenever possible and do our best to carry products from local artisans.
