Downtown Squamish is about to welcome a new addition to its culinary scene.

Festal Café, a healthy fast-casual restaurant, is set to open soon on Buckley Avenue, but the exact date is yet to be announced. The café proudly offers a menu catering to Keto, Paleo, and other health-conscious diets. “Our food options are gluten-free, low-carb, sugar-free, and dairy-free. Our ingredients consist of wholesome foods that are anti-inflammatory yet possessing healthy quality fats, from the farm to The Festal Table,” the café recently said on Instagram.

Festal Café boasts of sourcing the best quality ingredients, especially regarding meat selection. The restaurant’s options include local, wild, free-range, organic, grass-fed/grass-finished meat.  The chefs, Jason and James, are culinary experts with over 40 years combined experience in the high-end hotel industry.

“At Festal Cafe, we pride ourselves on our gluten-free menu. Whether following a keto diet, embracing the paleo lifestyle, or simply being passionate about healthy eating, our diverse menu has something for everyone,” the restaurant added.

For those interested in joining the team, Festal Café is hiring, and resumes can be sent to Jason@festalcafe.com. He can also be contacted at 604-698-0044.  Festal Café closed its Vancouver location in April last year.

Paleo and keto diets are not ‘health’ conscious; quite the contrary. Such diets contribute up to 80% of all totally preventable and in most cases reversible diseases ( see work of Dr Dean Ornish, Dr Caldwell Esselstyn, Dr Neal Barnard, Dr John Mcdougall, T Colin Campbell PhD, Dr Michael Greger, etc. ) crippling our health care system and environment ( the same comorbid conditions associated with severe COVID outcomes as shown in two recent British Medical Journal studies ) and significantly shorten lifespan.

so just believe and follow what diet you want to, for your own health needs. Don’t take what YOU believe to be the truth and proceed to misinform many people.
