Sea to Sky Gondola has announced its 10th anniversary celebration, which will take place on May 11 and 12, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Summit Lodge.

The gondola said in a press release that this momentous occasion marks a decade of unforgettable experiences, breathtaking views, and cherished memories shared with visitors from around the globe.

Since its inception, Sea to Sky Gondola has become a beacon of adventure, offering a gateway to the unparalleled beauty of the Sea to Sky corridor.  The press release says the gondola has been a beloved destination for nature enthusiasts, families, and adventurers alike, from thrilling hikes to live music events with panoramic views.

The anniversary weekend promises various activities and entertainment for guests of all ages. Visitors can immerse themselves in live music performances by local Squamish bands, indulge in food specials, and participate in guided tours and scavenger hunts. The first 500 guests will receive a delectable anniversary cupcake on Saturday as a token of appreciation.

Saturday’s festivities kick off with a morning hike along the Sea to Summit Trail, rewarding early risers with complimentary hot beverage vouchers upon reaching the Summit. Yoga enthusiasts can rejuvenate their bodies and souls during Yoga with View sessions, led by Annie Martinello on the Octagon Deck. Throughout the day, guests can explore the Vendor Village, savour Howe Sound Sky Pilot beer tastings, and embark on family-friendly adventures such as Alpine Alley’s kid-friendly tour and a captivating scavenger hunt.

Sunday continues the celebration with another chance to hike the Sea to Summit Trail and enjoy Yoga with View sessions. Guests can partake in bespoke poetry sessions by Emily Buck from Poetry Hugs and revel in musical performances by Cam Salay and Students on the Octagon deck.

Don’t miss the opportunity to join Sea to Sky Gondola in celebrating ten years of adventure, exploration, and community spirit.
