The community is invited to a public information meeting about a proposed townhome development in Dentville. The District of Squamish has received a development application for 29 townhomes at 38795 and 38779 Britannia Avenue in Dentville.

The application seeks to rezone the subject property from Residential 2 to a Comprehensive Development zone for 29 townhome units.

Cre8 Architecture Ltd. is holding the meeting in compliance with the District of Squamish policy. The applicant will present details of the application and proposed development, receive input from community members, and answer questions.

Details of the meeting

Date: May 29, 2024

Time: 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Location: Squamish Elementary School, located at 38370 Buckley Ave.

The applicant’s formal presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. The applicant has also distributed notices to residents within 100 metres of the subject property. If you have any questions, please contact the planning department at 604-815-5002 or Jaswinder Singh Gabri at 778-891-0167. He can also be reached by email at jaswinder@cre8architecture.ca.

Please note that this is not a public hearing. After the meeting, staff will provide a report, and the council will formally consider the application at a later date.  The proposal also includes park space at the northwest corner. The District is awaiting a new site plan and a Community Amenity package for the proposed development.
