Keir Fine Jewelry, a local store in Downtown Squamish, is closing its doors. Located in Chieftain Plaza, the store operated under various names before becoming Keir Fine Jewelry, which was run by Lana Beattie and her dedicated staff.

Lana Beattie, who has owned Keir Fine Jewelry in Whistler since 2012, expanded her business to Squamish in 2019.

Reflecting on her decision, Beattie said: “Earlier in my career, I was excited to open multiple stores in the Sea to Sky Corridor, but over the past year, I have decided it is time to simplify, which has led to the difficult decision to close the Squamish store. We love our Squamish customers and hope they will visit us in Whistler – where it will be business as usual – in the coming years.”

Tina, the store’s General Manager, expressed her sentiments about the closure: “It has been a pleasure to share in people’s happy occasions and to service Keir’s customers of Squamish and the communities beyond. I look forward to seeing many customers and friends over the next few weeks.”

The store-closing sale begins today, Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 10 am, with significant markdowns on all items.
