staff report
September 3, 2024 10:12am

Five people were taken to hospital after an accident on the Sea to Sky Highway on Sunday.

BC Emergency Health Services received a call at 1:19 p.m. on September 1, 2024, about an accident on Highway 99 and Conroy Forest Service Road.

The accident closed traffic in both directions for some time.

Three ambulances with primary care paramedics, one advanced care paramedic primary response unit, and one supervisor attended the scene, said Public Information Officer Brian Twaites.

Twaite said paramedics provided emergency medical treatment and took five patients in stable condition to the hospital.
